Some Background on Scott - Part 2

If you missed last week's exciting episode of Some Background on Scott you can read it there.  This week we move on to the next group of questions.  Let's see how far we get.

What are you favorite things to do in the past?  What about now?
I've been playing video games for nearly as long as I can remember.  From computer games on my commodore 64, to my original Atari 2600, to modern day xbox and PC gaming this has always been a favorite past time of mine and it continues to be to this day.

What activities make you lose track of time?
Strangely enough work.  If I am working on a new project, program, website, etc.  If I am interested in it I will completely lose track of time and be hyper focused.

What makes you feel great about yourself?
Accomplishment.  When I spend time working hard on a project the moment I sit back, look over my work proudly relishing my accomplishment.  This could be as simple as really deep cleaning the kitchen to building a complicated computer cluster for a client.

Who inspires you most? (Anyone you know or do not know. Family, friends, authors, artists, leaders, etc.) Which qualities inspire you, in each person?

  • My father - A man who gave up his professional dream to take care of his family and worked his way up through the ranks and now enjoys great personal and professional success.  He is the model and standard by which I measure myself as a man and a father.
  • My mother - A woman of incomparable dedication and focus.  One of the few people on this planet not afraid to stand toe to toe with me and share her opinion.
  • My wife - The only woman who I have met who can smile no matter what the situation is.  She truly inspires me to be a better a person.
  • Ronald Reagan - Perhaps one of the most intelligent and wise leaders in history, period.
Well that gets us through the first 5.  We have 10 more to go.  I hope you enjoyed it.  I'm going to try to blog more regularly however I won't promise anything.  I'm a busy guy. :)
